Recent Events:
The
choreography of Jeremy Plummer is the newest addition to the PDC repertoire. New work was set on the dancers during a residency
in September of 2008. The residency and choreographic session also presented an opportunity for apprentices to work with a
nationally recognized choreographer in a one to one situation for the first time.
Mr. Plummer danced and choreographed
with the River North Dance Company in Chicago prior to launching his company C5 with its motto, “Create with no limits”.
He choreographs for several cruise lines, including Royal Caribbean and is in demand as a choreographer with many dance companies,
colleges and national dance organizations.
Additional new works that were presented at the March 14 & 15,
2009 shows are from PDC resident choreographers Haylee McFarland, Jaci Mullins, Jenn Wolfe and artistic director Debbie Werbrouck.
The styles range in contemporary form and included some selections of ethnic flavoring. Ms. McFarland, who worked with Mr.
Plummer on Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, was a featured dancer in his choreography.
