Patchwork Dance Company serves the Michiana community and beyond through the efforts of our dedicated directors, choreographers, dancers, sponsors, volunteers and audience members.

 

Debbie Werbrouck, MDE founder and artistic director, holds her Master Certification in dance from Chicago National Association of Dance Masters. From 1992-1997 she hired the international faculty for the organization. She has served as Education Director, Principal, and Board Member and President of this one hundred ten year old organization. She has structured and implemented dance classes for area nursery, elementary and secondary schools and founded Academy Arts Preschool. She has served as guest artist for several national dance organizations and private dance schools throughout the Midwest. She has been an adjudicator and choreographer for national scholarship pageants, colleges, civic theaters and high schools. Ms. Werbrouck directed Patchwork’s performance tour of England and Scotland in 1992. She also served as faculty member of the Department of Communication, Dance and Theatre at Saint Mary’s College, Notre Dame, IN from 1992-1994. She currently co-chairs the New York based coalition of dance education organizations, UNITY.

 



Jenn Wolfe
, MDE holds her degree from Indiana University and her Master Dance Educator certification from CNADM. She is the primary resident choreographer and rehearsal director for Patchwork Dance Company. She has studied extensively with a range of guest artists and participated in the performance tour of Europe in 1999. She has performed the works of most of the guest choreographers and danced the title role in “Christopher’s Christmas” for many years. She teaches dance at Penn High School as well as teaching at the Werbrouck School.

 



Hillary Mason
graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a BA in Dance and is a resident choreographer for Patchwork. At school, her focus was in contemporary dance performance, choreography, and pedagogy. Her technical background includes Ballet, Modern/Contemporary, Improvisation, Hip Hop, and Jazz. She has studied under many working professionals in the Chicagoland area, and has performed in choreographic works by Jessica Miller Tomlinson, Rennie Harris, and Pam McNeil.  She’s a faculty member of Debbie Werbrouck School of Dance, Culver Academies, and St. Mary’s College.



Lauren Bodle
holds her degree from the University of South Florida and is a faculty member of Debbie Werbrouck School of Dance, where she began her dance education. She is a second generation PDC dancer and choreographer. In addition to her work with USF and PDC choreographers, she has studied and performed through CNADM. She received the Beverly Miller scholarship in 2011, and the Dance and More merit scholarship in 2013. She has performed in New York, Rome and Barcelona. She edited the virtual performance of Artistic Fusion for PDC in 2020.

 



Allison Doctor 
received her dance training from Debbie Werbrouck School of Dance and has been a long-time member of PDC. She has worked with both resident and guest choreographers and also participated in Dance and More with Chicago National Association of Dance Masters. She was valedictorian of her class at John Adams High School and is a graduate of the University of
Notre Dame. Allison is currently teaching English in Madrid, Spain as a Fullbright Scholar.


 


Bri Feltz
received her Elementary Education degree from Bethel University and shares her love of teaching both at school and dance. She received her dance training and teacher apprentice training from Debbie Werbrouck School of Dance, where she’s on faculty. She has been a member of PDC, working with a variety of choreographers. Bri has attended both Ballet Forum and Training school with CNADM.

 



Jordyn Green
received her dance training from Debbie Werbrouck School of Dance where she is currently on faculty. In addition to her dancing, Jordyn has a long list of theater credits. She has been a member of PDC and worked with both resident and guest choreographers through the years. Jordyn has danced a variety of roles and styles in multiple spring, fall and holiday concerts.

 



Kariana Radabaugh
received her training in dance from Debbie Werbrouck School of Dance. She has been a member of PDC for many years, where she has worked with resident and guest choreographers. She also has attended workshops with Chicago National Association of Dance Masters. She graduated from Mishawaka High School as valedictorian and is currently a student at the University of Notre Dame.

 



Julie Werbrouck Bodle,
MDE holds her Master Certification in dance from Chicago National Association of Dance Masters and has served as Board Member, Sergeant-At-Arms, Treasurer, Principal, Vice-President and President. In her five-year term as Principal she was responsible for hiring the national faculty including during the 100th Anniversary. Literally “growing up in the studio,” Mrs. Bodle took advantage of the tremendous artistic and educational exposure and has utilized this knowledge in her own dancing and teaching. A member of Patchwork Dance Company since its inception, Julie has been called “an outstanding performer” by critics. She assisted with Patchwork’s performance tour of England and Scotland, the school performance tours both here and abroad and directs the performing group of the school, the Apple Corps Dancers.


 

Denise Honaker, MDE holds her degree from Indiana University. She teaches dance at Penn High School and has been a member of the Werbrouck School faculty since 1993 where she specializes in the school’s Early Childhood Program. Denise received her early training at the Werbrouck School and has worked with and performed the work of numerous choreographers. She is a Master Dance Educator of CNADM and has received recognition through scholarship awards. She has been dancing for more than thirty years and has toured with Patchwork in Chicago.

 


 

 

Jaci Mullins MDE holds her title of Master Dance Educator from CNADM and continues to contribute choreography to Patchwork Dance Company. She studied with and performed the works of many guest choreographers. She was a member of the Werbrouck faculty for twenty three years. Her own choreography includes work for the Apple Corps and Notre Dame Irish Superstar dancers through the Werbrouck School. She danced in Walt Disney World, Florida during the summers of 1994 and 1997 and was a faculty member of the 2000 NYC school tour.
